Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality DW/BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, hands-on experience with ETL processes, and a solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work across multiple DW/BI disciplines including ETL, data access control, data quality, metadata management, and data governance.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data analysis, transformation, and validation.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using ETL tools or programming languages.
• Participate in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for BI projects.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
• Support dashboard and data visualization initiatives using tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Google’s PLX Dashboard.
• Contribute to the improvement of DW/BI best practices, development standards, and data quality processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Strong expertise in SQL, including advanced queries and data manipulation.
• Experience developing ETL processes or data pipelines using ETL tools or programming languages.
• Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and structured development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, including advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pentaho for ETL development.
• Programming/scripting experience with Python, Shell scripting, and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Google PLX Dashboard.
• Experience with BI requirements gathering and functional analysis.
