Data Science Specialist
Lima, Lima

Job Summary

•Senior data engineer focused on pipeline development and SAP data integration
•Supports the Delivery Lead in architecture decisions and code reviews
•Contributes to data quality and performance optimisation initiatives

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build and maintain data pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources
•Develop and optimise ETL/ELT jobs using Python, SQL and cloud tools
•Implement data models aligned with Anglo American reporting requirements
•Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and document corrective actions
•Support SAP DataSphere / BW integration and data provisioning

Skill Requirements

•Python, SQL, PySpark – advanced level
•SAP BW / DataSphere / HANA data extraction
•Azure Data Factory or equivalent cloud pipeline tool
•Data modelling and warehouse design
•Fluent Spanish & English
