Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in IBM DataStage, Oracle Database, and Linux/Unix environments to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise-scale ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data integration, performance tuning, batch processing, and production support within large-scale data warehouse ecosystems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/Data Integration solutions using IBM DataStage.
  • Build and maintain complex ETL jobs for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple source systems.
  • Develop and optimize Oracle SQL, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
  • Perform data profiling, data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows, batch jobs, and production issues.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Work extensively in Linux/Unix environments for job scheduling, deployment, and automation.
  • Implement shell scripts to automate operational and data-processing tasks.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and application teams to understand data requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
  • Support data migration, data quality initiatives, and system upgrades.
