- Administer and support IBM DataStage (IIS 11.7) environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL job failures, performance issues, and connectivity problems (Snowflake, Oracle, DB2, etc.).
- Planning , Design, installation, Configuring and running the of the CP4D.
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade DataStage components and connectors.
- Managing resources that are allocated to the Cloud Pak, including authorizing user access.
- Creating templates and automation flows for accessing the Cloud Pak.
- Responsible for setting up, configuring, and managing tools or technologies across systems and networks.
- familiar with the Cloud Pak for Business Automation software and the prerequisites
- have expertise in different connecter like database, snowflake, Kafka, MQ etc integration
- Understand and able setup the LDAP configurations
- Able to handle cluster maintenance tasks occur, configure cluster-level autoscaling, and enable or disable logging and monitoring for the cluster.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using IBM Cloud Pak for DataStage.
- Experience in migration for existing Datastage set up to CP4D
- Install/upgrade Information Server product suite on different tiers (Server and Client). This includes DataStage, Quality Stage. Post install configuration.
- Analyze existing Infrastructure and DataStage jobs, ensuring best practices are being followed.
- Implement procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery operations for the ETL environment.
- Infrastructure optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Apply fixes, patches and Service Packs as required and provided, keeping the DS environment up to date.
- Maintain ownership of release activities which interact with ETL projects. Work with Prod Support to maintain and administer the ETL deployment environment.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX operating systems.
- Provide technical expertise, direction, and development support for the ETL development team as well as support to the developers.
- Good to have knowledge of ITIL.
