Job Summary

Desired skills:

1. IDMC/IICS.

- Proficiency in using IDMC/IICS for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks.

- Ability to design ETL mappings, workflows, and transformations.

2. Database Management Systems (DBMS):

- Knowledge of SQL Server, DB2, and Teradata.

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data quality.

3. Unix and XML:

- Familiarity with Unix operating systems and XML data formats.

4. Performance Optimization:

- Experience tuning mappings, optimizing transformations, and managing workflow efficiency.

5.Security and Maintenance:

- Implementing upgrades, security patches, and server maintenance.

6.Informatica Designer Components: Familiarity with Source Analyzer, Mapping Designer, Mapplet Designer, and Transformation Developer.

7. Technical Consulting: Provide senior-level consulting and advisory services.

8. Data Warehousing: Experience designing and constructing databases.

9.Collaboration:Share knowledge, consult, and communicate effectively with the team.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of ibm infosphere datastage jobs and workflows.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data integration projects.
3. Develop and maintain etl processes using ibm infosphere datastage, ensuring optimal performance and data quality.
4. Design, implement, and optimize sql queries in oracle databases for data retrieval and manipulation.
5. Create and maintain unix shell scripts to automate data loading processes and perform system tasks efficiently.
6. Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct performance tuning, and ensure data integrity across all systems.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
8. Stay updated on the latest technologies and tools in data integration to drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery.

Skill Requirements

Desired Experience :- Exp in managing and maintaining critical applications within the ASM framework , including:-

1.Minimum 5+ yrs of experience in IDMC/IICS: Showcase hands-on experience with designing, developing, and debugging ETL workflows using Informatica Cloud.

2.Minimum 5+ yrs of experience in Data Integration and Transformation: Demonstrate expertise in data integration and transformation tools.

3.Minimum 4+ yrs of experience in Oracle and PL/SQL: hands-on experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.

4.Education:A relevant degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

5.Certifications:Consider certifications related to Informatica (e.g., IDQ).

6.Experience: Proficiency in IDMC/IICS, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
