Job Summary

The Design Lead plays a critical role in overseeing the design team and establishing design standards that align with the organization's business goals. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders to integrate design thinking into product development, ensuring high-quality design solutions while driving innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate With Key Stakeholders To Understand Business Objectives And Integrate Design Thinking Into Product Development Using Allegro Pcb, Ensuring Alignment With Project Specifications And User Requirements.
2. Lead A Team Of Designers By Providing Technical Guidance On Pcb Layout Design And Best Practices In Allegro Pcb, Ensuring The Delivery Of Innovative And High-Quality Design Solutions.
3. Present Design Concepts And Strategies To Stakeholders, Effectively Communicating Technical Details Related To Allegro Pcb Designs, And Gathering Feedback For Iterative Improvements.
4. Establish And Maintain Design Standards, Guidelines, And Best Practices For Pcb Design Using Allegro Pcb To Promote Consistency And Quality Across Projects.
5. Stay Abreast Of Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies Related To Pcb Design And Allegro Pcb, Driving Innovation And Excellence In Design Practices Within The Team.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient In Allegro Pcb Design Software With Solid Understanding Of Pcb Design Principles.
2. Strong Knowledge Of Cad Software For Supporting Design Processes.
3. Excellent Communication Skills For Stakeholder Collaboration And Presentation Of Design Concepts.
4. Ability To Lead And Mentor A Design Team, Fostering A Culture Of Quality And Innovation.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Ipc Designer Certification, Ipc-2221, Or Equivalent Pcb Design Certification.
Maximum Salary (US):  108000
Minimum Salary (US):  71000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
