Wiring System Engineer (HV and LV Harness)
Qualification, Experience and Competency requirements:
Preferred Education
- B.E./ B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic/Automotive Engineering with 4+ years Automotive Industry experience in Wiring harness System Enigneering.
Roles & Responsibilities (Not limited to)
- Lead Ground Topology Overview for Ground Points, Circuit Names, Device Names, Definition of Dirty/Clean
- Lead Network Topology for CAN-BH/C, Devices, Harness Family, creating Network Topology, CAN Block P/N's and get network approval from STLA network team.
- Lead for Hi-Current Functionality by creating High Current Topology, 8mm+ wires, devices, wire sizes, wire types, wire length and resistance check to meet system requirements
- Lead Device Topology by creating and maintaining device topology in Visio.
- Lead in creating and maintaining inline topology
- Lead in reviewing with PDC Fuse tree engineers (STLA)
- Lead in creating and maintaining bulletin tracker, determine bulletin effect, provide systems impact to PC and supply bulletin tracker to DR.
- Lead in Developing Complexity Chart
- Lead in create maintain device transmittal / Interface tracker (Fink list) through SYNC 3 and Provide list to PC/DL/DR for program reviews and PMT.
- Ensure Device Transmittal / Interface completeness / accuracy, Loads, Special Requirements, Terminal plating, connector p/n, pinout, One-ended circuit check, Yellow connector check, obsolete connector check, disassociate device Interface from other carlines and interface sign-off
- Maintain DTCR / Interface tracker (after Release 1A close), provide tracker data for Program Reviews to PC/Systems DR/DL.
- Meet with PC, CoC to obtain Interface / DTCR approvals.
- Lead for Sales-code device pins by assigning device pins with feature codes.
- Lead for Inline by creating and submitting CSR forms to CoC, creating inline list file (X/Y-NUMs, Male/Female, connector p/ns, description, etc), Approve inline pinouts and creating inline device transmittal (add special requirements. and terminal plating).
- Lead for Wire Gauge Selection by providing initial wire sizing and approving final wire size.
- Lead for EE Systems Design Reviews by reviewing sub-systems.
- SDP / Schematics design in Logics.
- HV Cable Circuit design on 2D: Logical and Physical.
- HV 2D Drawing: Knowledge about General Standard Guidelines, Packaging guidelines and safety guidelines for transporting, precautionary steps for laying onto vehicle.

5. Stay Informed On Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies In Harness Design, Driving Innovation And Excellence Within The Design Team And Enhancing Overall Project Outcomes.
Skill Requirements
2. Solid Understanding Of Electrical Cabling, Schematics, And Power Distribution Methodologies.
3. Proficiency In 3D Routing Software And Electro-Mechanical Packaging Techniques.
