Design Lead - Casting, CAD Software

Job Summary

Hydraulics layout and DWG

  1. Releases engineering change notices through Windchill as per Plan.  Ensures the correct processes, tooling and equipment are available to manufacture related parts in a safe, quality, and cost-effective manner.   
  2. Create layout, design and create drawings via solid modelling, using Catia CAD / Creo system.
  3. Hose, Pipe and fittings selection, Modelling, Routing, Creating table drawings and chart.
  4. Design for Manufacturability: understanding of manufacturing processes like casting, forging, machining, Fittings, Hose, Pipes etc.
  5. Checking drawings for tolerance / accuracy, evaluating design concepts DMU, interference check with surrounding systems and Stack-up tolerance analysis
  6. The Hose routing simulation for optimize the hose minimum bending radius to maximize the hose quality

Product and application knowledge:

·    Basic knowledge of Construction equipment Excavators
