Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of new and existing mechanical systems and components
  • Conduct structured experiments and testing to evaluate system performance and material interactions
  • Analyze field data and subsystem performance to identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Support technical investigations, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation including specifications, test plans, and technical reports

Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials behavior
  • Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and laboratory instrumentation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly and effectively

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
