Job Summary

The Design Lead will be responsible for overseeing Sheet Metal Design, Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DFMA), and utilizing Creo/ProE. The primary focus will be on leading the design team and ensuring efficient and effective design processes to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the design team in creating innovative and efficient sheet metal designs.
2. Implement design for manufacture & assembly (dfma) principles to optimize production processes.
3. Utilize creo/proe software for design tasks and ensure accuracy and quality of designs.
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure design alignment with project requirements.
5. Conduct design reviews, provide feedback, and implement improvements as necessary.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sheet metal design and dfma practices.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and efficiencies.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in sheet metal design principles and techniques.
2. Expertise in design for manufacture & assembly (dfma) methodologies.
3. Advanced knowledge of creo/proe software for designing components and assemblies.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for design optimization.
5. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
6. Ability to lead and mentor a design team to foster creativity and innovation.
7. Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality designs within project timelines.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
