Job Summary

Job Description:

  • 7+ years of Electrical engineer with ex. power-supply, control system and cable harness experience. Tool: ACAD, E3s, any 3D CAD (Basic) Solidedge, Creo)

PLM experience (SAP, Windchill)

  • Develop electrical subsystem and system-level designs for complex semiconductor capital equipment by studying customer and internal requirements.
  • Should have experience in Electrical equipment layouts, Schematics, and cable harness designs.
  • Work closely with senior R&D team members to translate concepts into integrated products.
  • Execute detailed design of AC/DC/Digital electrical systems, subsystems, board layouts, cables, and cable harnesses.
  • Document designs, drawings, BOM for production release, ECO process.
  • Familiar with varies Electrical standards like IEC, CE, NEC, NFPA & IPC-WHMA-620, SEMI & UL
  • Part end of life/Obsolesce support.
  • exposure to PLC and HMI programming.
  • Should have experience in selection of power supply, switch gear components with respect to IEC, NEMA standards.
  • Understanding on KC standards.
  • Experience on pneumatics controls and circuits.
  • Good knowledge on communication protocols such as RS485, RS422, modus, ProfiNET, Ethernet and EtherCAT
  • Experience in handling remote I/O modules with different protocols.

Key Responsibilities

1. To collaborate with key stakeholders, to understand business objectives and work with them to integrate design thinking into software/product development.
2. To lead a team of designers, provide guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions in alignment with the overall business goals.
3. To present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and gather feedback.
4. To establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
5. To stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in design.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
