Job Summary

Job Description – NPI Test Engineer:

  • Support NPI test operations by identifying and resolving gaps in Test Process Instructions (TPI) and validating smooth stage functionality.
  • Perform test failure investigations, create Non-Conformance (NC) reports, and drive root cause analysis with corrective actions.
  • Manage updates through Jira, including modifications to TPIs, scripts, and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and debug electrical/electronic systems at component, subsystem, and system levels using standard diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, test) to resolve issues, validate fixes, and support product development.
  • Train technicians and engineers on updated TPIs, MES processes, and maintain detailed debug, failure analysis, and test reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. To collaborate with key stakeholders, to understand business objectives and work with them to integrate design thinking into software/product development.
2. To lead a team of designers, provide guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions in alignment with the overall business goals.
3. To present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and gather feedback.
4. To establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
5. To stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in design.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
