Design Lead

Job Summary

  • Develop conceptual and detailed mechanical designs for semiconductor deposition equipment.
  • Design process chambers, vacuum enclosures, equipment frames, covers, brackets, manifolds and precision mechanical assemblies.
  • Develop 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assemblies and BOMs using Creo / NX / SolidWorks.
  • Perform GD&T, tolerance stack-up and interface analysis.
  • Conduct design reviews and support design verification and validation.

Vacuum & Deposition Systems

  • Design mechanical systems associated with PVD, CVD and MOCVD equipment.
  • Design and integrate vacuum-system components such as chambers, flanges, seals, bellows, vacuum lines and pumping interfaces.
  • Support integration of gas-delivery and process modules.
  • Select suitable materials, seals and components considering vacuum, temperature, cleanliness and process requirements.
