Job Summary
To oversee the design team, set design standards, contribute to the design strategy, and collaborate with stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals.
Knowledge / Experience needs:-
• Primary knowledge & background – Test Equipment design & build, Procurement
• Secondary knowledge & background – Electronics, PWB Layout, Mechanical
• Leading obsolescence projects
• Interface with Parent BU (Customer), handling all dependencies, milestones, and inter-dependencies
• Driving the project working with Parent BU (USA) and internal functional teams
• Accountable for SPI, CPI, EAC Growth, Schedule Delays
• Primary Responsibilities - Detailed Planning, schedule / budget, tracking, Earned Value Management, Risk & Opportunities Management, scope change, integration of all disciplines
• Domain – Aerospace, DO254, Technical Tasks, milestones, SOI Audit
• Work with internal Project Manager

2. To lead a team of designers, provide guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions in alignment with the overall business goals.
3. To present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and gather feedback.
4. To establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
5. To stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in design.
