Job Summary

To oversee the design team, set design standards, contribute to the design strategy, and collaborate with stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals.

The Design Lead is responsible for guiding a dynamic team of designers to deliver effective visual communication solutions that align with business objectives. This role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to ensure design thinking is integrated into product development, while also fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in design. By establishing design standards and best practices, the Design Lead plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's visual identity and user experience.     1. Collaborate With Key Stakeholders To Understand Business Objectives And Integrate Design Thinking Into Software/Product Development Using Visual Communication Principles. 2. Lead A Team Of Designers, Providing Guidance And Mentorship To Ensure The Delivery Of High-Quality Design Solutions That Reflect The Overall Business Goals. 3. Present Design Concepts And Strategies Using Visual Communication Tools, Gathering Stakeholder Feedback To Refine And Enhance Design Outcomes. 4. Establish And Maintain Design Standards, Guidelines, And Best Practices In Visual Communication Design To Ensure Consistency And Quality Across Projects. 5. Stay Abreast Of Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies In Visual Communication Design To Drive Innovation And Excellence In Design Practices.   1. Strong Understanding Of Visual Communication Design Principles And Practices. 2. Proficiency In Design Software Such As Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign). 3. Solid Experience In Creating And Implementing Design Strategies That Align With Business Objectives. 4. Familiarity With User-Centric Design Processes And Methodologies. 5. Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills To Convey Design Concepts Effectively.   1. Optional But Valuable Certifications In Design Thinking Or Visual Communication, Such As Certified Design Thinking Practitioner Or Adobe Certified Expert (Ace) In Relevant Software.

Key Responsibilities

1. To collaborate with key stakeholders, to understand business objectives and work with them to integrate design thinking into software/product development.
2. To lead a team of designers, provide guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions in alignment with the overall business goals.
3. To present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and gather feedback.
4. To establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
5. To stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in design.
