Job Summary

The LabVIEW Designer plays a crucial role in the creation and design of software solutions that align with project objectives. This position emphasizes understanding user requirements and delivering high-quality designs that enhance system functionality, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the organization's projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct Thorough Analysis Of User Needs And System Specifications By Utilizing Labview To Ensure That Design Outputs Meet Project Requirements.
2. Develop Detailed Design Specifications And Documentation Using Labview, Outlining System Components, Interfaces, And Functionalities For Clarity And Precision.
3. Create Prototypes Using Labview To Illustrate Software Functionality, Gather Feedback From Users And Stakeholders, And Iterate On Designs Based On Their Input To Improve Usability.
4. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Design Cohesive And User-Friendly Interfaces, Ensuring Alignment With Overall Project Goals And Enhancing User Experiences.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Labview Programming.
2. Familiarity With Software Design Principles And Methodologies.
3. Fundamental Knowledge Of System Specifications And User Interface Design.
4. Basic Experience With Prototype Development And User Feedback Integration.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Labview Associate Developer (Clad).
2. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Labview Core 1 Certification.

Minimum Salary (US):  45000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
