Job Summary
The Designer at HCL is responsible for component cost estimation, supplier collaboration and negotiation, as well as supplier development and management. The role involves driving cost-effective solutions, fostering strong relationships with suppliers, and enhancing supplier capabilities to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct component cost estimation and analysis to support sourcing decisions and cost optimization initiatives.
2. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and agreements in line with company requirements.
3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance supplier performance, quality, and delivery timelines.
4. Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
5. Identify opportunities for supplier development and work towards continuous improvement in supplier processes and capabilities.
