Designer - DFMA, CAD Software, Component Engineering

Job Summary

The Component Designer plays a crucial role in the development of innovative software solutions, focusing on component engineering to meet project specifications. This position involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that designs are functional, user-friendly, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct Thorough Analysis Of User Needs And System Specifications By Utilizing Cad Software To Ensure Designs Meet Functional And Aesthetic Criteria.
2. Develop Detailed Design Specifications And Documentation Using Component Engineering Principles, Including The Definition Of System Components And Design For Manufacturing And Assembly (Dfma) Considerations.
3. Create Prototypes Using Cad Tools To Illustrate The Functionality Of Designs, Gather Feedback, And Iterate On Prototypes Based On User And Stakeholder Input To Enhance Overall Usability.
4. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Create Cohesive And User-Friendly Interfaces, Ensuring Alignment Between Design Intent And Technical Feasibility.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Component Engineering Principles And Cad Software.
2. Fundamental Knowledge Of Design For Manufacturing And Assembly (Dfma).
3. Familiarity With Prototyping Techniques And User Interface Design.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable: Certification In Cad Software (E.G., Autocad, Solidworks).
