Job Summary

The Designer will be responsible for design verification & validation, PCB Design Tool, and test/interface/uc board design. The primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and functionality of designs, as well as designing and validating PCB layouts and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform design verification and validation activities to ensure the accuracy and functionality of designs.
2. Utilize pcb design tools to create and modify pcb layouts based on project requirements.
3. Design test/interface/uc boards and conduct testing to validate design functionality.
4. Collaborate within team to ensure design specifications are met and project timelines are achieved.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve design issues as they arise during the development process.

Skill Requirements

1. Knowledge of design verification & validation processes.
2. Knowledge of pcb design tools such as altium designer, cadence allegro, or orcad.
3. Knowledge of test/interface/uc board design principles.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
5. Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
