Job Summary

The Windchill Designer is responsible for creating and designing software solutions that align with project requirements. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that user needs are met through effective design practices, contributing to the overall success and functionality of the system.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct Thorough Analysis Of User Needs And System Specifications To Inform Design Decisions Using Windchill Tools.
2. Develop Detailed Design Specifications And Documentation, Including System Components And User Interfaces, Ensuring Adherence To Best Practices In Plm Processes.
3. Create Prototypes Utilizing Windchill Functionalities To Illustrate Software Capabilities, Gather Feedback, And Iterate On Designs Based On User And Stakeholder Input.
4. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Develop Cohesive And User-Friendly Interfaces, Incorporating Change Management Principles To Enhance Design Effectiveness.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Windchill And Its Applications In Product Lifecycle Management.
2. Familiarity With Design Verification And Validation Processes.
3. Fundamental Knowledge Of Creating Design Documentation And Specifications.
4. Ability To Prototype Using Design Tools And Gather User Feedback.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable: Certification In Windchill Or Relevant Plm Methodologies.
