Job Summary
Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior VLSI Analog Design Engineer with strong fundamentals in analog circuit design and a willingness to learn and contribute to complex mixed-signal IC development. The candidate will support senior designers in circuit design, simulation, and verification activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analog Circuit Design Support
- Assist in the design of basic analog and mixed-signal blocks such as:
- Amplifiers (single-stage, differential pairs)
- Bandgap references & biasing circuits
- Comparators, oscillators
- Support schematic design using Cadence Virtuoso
2. Simulation & Analysis
- Perform circuit simulations:
- DC, AC, transient, basic noise analysis
- Analyze key parameters:
- Gain, bandwidth, phase margin, power consumption
- Assist in PVT corner and basic Monte Carlo analysis
3. Layout Interaction
- Work with layout engineers to understand:
- Matching techniques
- Parasitic effects and layout constraints
- Support LVS/DRC validation
4. Debug & Validation
- Debug simulation issues and support design iteration
- Assist in improving performance metrics:
- Rise/fall time, settling time, stability
5. Documentation
- Maintain documentation:
- Simulation results
- Design notes and test cases
- Prepare reports for review by senior engineers
6. Learning & Development
- Gain exposure to:
- Full analog design cycle
- AMS integration and system-level understanding
- Participate in design reviews and team discussions
JD:
Responsible for supporting product development lab activities with customer Lab
Perform operational testing, debugging, and fault isolation using schematics, layouts, and test equipment
Conduct engineering and experimental tests to collect design data
Fundamentals: electronics,
Experience in test equipment, soldering, and troubleshooting
Should have Electronics Equipment Basic Knowledge (Oscilloscope, PCB board & Devices , power source meter) etc
Basic knowledge on circuit tracking on board (Identifying resistor, capacitor , IC , connectors)
Basic Knowledge to follow schematic diagram
Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office tools and technical documentation
Good communication and collaboration skills
Diploma or B Sc electronics or BTech Electronics Freshers
Key Responsibilities
2. To develop detailed design specifications and documentation including system components and user interfaces.
3. To create prototypes to illustrate the functionality of the software ,gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user /stakeholder input.
4. To collaborate with cross-functional teams, to create cohesive and user-friendly interfaces.
