"Network Automation Engineer (Python | Telecom Automation)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Network Automation Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions for network operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Python-based automation, automation frameworks, APIs, CI/CD, and DevOps practices, along with a working knowledge of telecom networks (LTE/5G and OSS). The role is primarily focused on automation (80%) with telecom domain knowledge (20%).
Key Responsibilities (Network Automation)
●    Design, develop, and maintain scalable network automation solutions using Python.
●    Build reusable automation frameworks, libraries, and utilities.
●    Automate network provisioning, configuration, validation, and software upgrades.
●    Develop REST API-based integrations with network management systems.
●    Create automation workflows using Ansible, Nornir, Netmiko, or similar tools.
●    Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Ansible and Terraform.
●    Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
●    Implement automated testing using Pytest and other testing frameworks.
●    Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
●    Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers on automation best practices.
●    Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize existing workflows.
●    Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Network Engineering teams to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications
●    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
●    8–12+ years of experience in software development and automation.
●    Experience in network automation or infrastructure automation.
●    Telecom domain experience is desirable/mandatory

Key Responsibilities

1. To conduct thorough analysis of user needs and system specifications.
2. To develop detailed design specifications and documentation including system components and user interfaces.
3. To create prototypes to illustrate the functionality of the software ,gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user /stakeholder input.
4. To collaborate with cross-functional teams, to create cohesive and user-friendly interfaces.
