Job Summary
Oracle EBS Technical Developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting customizations, integrations, and extensions within Oracle E-Business Suite (R12). The role involves working closely with functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom objects in Oracle EBS (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions – RICEFW)
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and APIs
- Build Reports using Oracle Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher)
- Design and implement interfaces and integrations using APIs, Web Services, and middleware
- Perform data migration and conversions using SQL Loader, UTL File, and APIs
- Customize and extend Oracle Forms and OAF (Oracle Application Framework) pages
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance tuning, and best practices
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL, SQL
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher
- Experience in OAF (mandatory for mid-senior roles)
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 architecture and modules (Finance, SCM, etc.)
- Experience in interfaces, APIs, and data migration techniques
- Familiarity with Unix/Shell scripting
Good to Have
- Experience with Oracle Integration (SOA, REST/SOAP services)
- Exposure to EBS upgrades or patching
- Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging
Experience
- 4–10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development
