Job TitleSAP EAM ConsultantJob SummaryThe SAP EAM Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Enterprise Asset Management solutions. The role focuses on enabling effective asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and operational efficiency across industries such as utilities, mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, and public sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support SAP EAM (PM) enhancements, bug fixes, troubleshooting errors, resolving P1/P2 incidents, and support during upgradesGather and analyze business requirements related to asset management and maintenance processesConfigure SAP EAM components including:Maintenance Planning & SchedulingWork Order ManagementPreventive & Corrective MaintenanceNotifications and Breakdown ProcessingMeasuring Points, Counters, and Maintenance PlansDesign and optimize asset structures (functional locations, equipment, BOMs, task lists)Integrate SAP EAM with other SAP modules such as MM, WM, FI/CO, PS, and SAP S/4HANASupport data migration, master data governance, and asset hierarchiesDevelop functional specifications and support technical developments (enhancements, workflows, reports)Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and resolve defectsProvide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live supportAct as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on best practices and process improvementsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EAM / SAP PMStrong understanding of asset-intensive business processesExperience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA EAMProven configuration experience across core EAM componentsKnowledge of maintenance strategies, reliability concepts, and asset lifecycle managementExperience working in implementation projects and support environmentsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDesirable SkillsSAP EAM certification (ECC or S/4HANA)Experience with SAP MRS, SAP Asset Manager, or SAP FSMExperience in asset-heavy industries (utilities, mining, manufacturing, transport)Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project methodologiesEducationBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldKey CompetenciesStakeholder managementBusiness process optimizationSolution design and documentationAttention to detailAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

1. To develop & deliver codes for the project/ work assigned by following established standards of quality and delivery SLA
2. To maintain the existing project by resolving/troubleshooting/debugging issues occurring in the existing project/application.
3. To understand client requirements and accordingly develop code to create required features.
4. Documentation of work.
