Development Lead - Advanced RPA

Job Summary

The Development Lead in Advanced RPA will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing software robots that automate repetitive tasks to enhance business efficiency. This position involves guiding development teams to ensure optimal solutions are aligned with customer requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor database health using Amazon CloudWatch and Performance Insights, analyze slow queries, and improve performance through indexing and query tuning.
  • Security & Access Management: Implement strong database security practices, manage roles and permissions depends on the requirements.
  • Backup & Recovery: manage snapshots, physical and logical backup and restore, perform point‑in‑time recovery (PITR) to ensure data protection and minimal downtime.
  • High Availability & Replication: Knowing high availability concepts in PostgreSQL and implement where required.
  • Database Maintenance & Configuration: Manage database parameter groups, extensions, perform routine tasks such as VACUUM and ANALYZE, and apply updates and patches to keep systems stable and efficient.
  • Troubleshooting & Operational Support: Investigate and resolve database issues like performance, availability, storage & more.
  • Database Migration & Upgrades: Plan and execute migrations between PostgreSQL and other databases, perform major and minor version upgrades.
  • Auditing & Compliance: Review logs, monitor events, setup RDS notification which is required.
  • Automation & Scripting (Optional) : Understanding Terraform modules and any knowledge on lambda and other AWS services are added advantage.

 

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Advanced Rpa Technologies, Particularly Agentic Ai.
2. Proficiency In Software Development And Coding Practices Relevant To Automation Solutions.
3. Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills For Effective Stakeholder Engagement And Documentation.
4. Ability To Influence And Guide Teams Through Technical Challenges And Best Practices.
