Job Summary

The Tools & Automation Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency through the development and maintenance of automation tools. This position focuses on asset management and ITIL processes, ensuring that all solutions align with organizational standards for quality and cost. The engineer will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality code and support existing projects while responding to client requests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect And Design Comprehensive Configuration Management Solutions Using Itil Principles And Tools Such As Bmc Remedy And Servicenow, Ensuring Alignment With Organizational Standards.
2. Train And Mentor Team Members On Configuration Management Best Practices And Itil Processes, Fostering A Knowledgeable Workforce And Mitigating Delivery Risks.
3. Gather And Analyze Client Specifications To Deliver Tailored Configuration Management Solutions, Leveraging Platforms Like Avanti And Ca Service Desk To Meet Client Needs Effectively.
4. Stay Abreast Of Emerging Technologies And Trends In Configuration Management, Ensuring Solutions Are Innovative, Current, And Of The Highest Quality To Meet Client Requirements.

Skill Requirements

1. In-Depth Knowledge Of Configuration Management And Itil Frameworks.
2. Proficiency In Service Management Tools Such As Servicenow, Bmc Remedy, And Ca Service Desk.
3. Strong Analytical Skills For Gathering Specifications And Understanding Client Needs.
4. Excellent Communication And Mentoring Abilities To Develop Team Skills Effectively.
