Job Summary

Network Security FMC/ ASA Key Responsibilities Firewall Management: Configure, maintain, and upgrade Cisco ASA firewalls and Cisco Firepower (FTD) appliances using FMC. Security Policy Enforcement: Implement and manage Access Control Lists (ACLs), security policies, and NAT rules to ensure secure network access. Threat Mitigation: Monitor and respond to network security incidents, utilizing Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS/IDS) and threat intelligence. VPN Management: Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote access VPNs. System Optimization: Perform performance tuning, firmware upgrades, and capacity planning for firewall infrastructure. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain network security documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in network security, specifically with Cisco ASA/CSM and Firepower/FMC. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switching, and security protocols. Tools: Proficiency with FMC, ASA CLI, Wireshark, and other monitoring tools. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Certifications: CCNP Security or Cisco Certified Specialist (Firepower) preferred. Core Competencies Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of network segmentation strategies.
