Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Intune / Modern Workplace Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise endpoint-management solutions. The role will be responsible for defining the target architecture for modern endpoint management, device provisioning, application management, security and compliance. The architect will provide technical leadership across Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows 11, Windows Autopilot and the wider Microsoft 365 endpoint ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end architecture and technical design of Microsoft Intune / Modern Workplace solutions. Define endpoint-management architecture covering Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS and Android environments as applicable. Design and implement Microsoft Intune MDM and MAM solutions. Architect modern Windows provisioning using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Entra join. Define device enrollment, configuration, compliance and lifecycle-management strategies. Design Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, security baselines and application-deployment models. Define enterprise application packaging and deployment strategy for endpoint environments. Design integration between Intune, Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access. Develop endpoint-security architecture incorporating capabilities such as BitLocker, Windows Hello for Business and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Architect secure access for corporate and BYOD/mobile-device scenarios. Define Windows update and patch-management strategy, including appropriate use of Windows Update for Business / Windows Autopatch. Assess existing endpoint-management environments and develop modernization or migration approaches. Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, solution-design sessions and technical decision-making with customer stakeholders. Produce HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, implementation standards and operational handover documentation. Work closely with Workplace, Security, IAM, Network, Service Desk and Field Support teams to ensure successful implementation and BAU transition. Provide L3/architect-level guidance for complex Intune, enrollment, policy, application and compliance issues. Drive technical standards, design governance and continuous improvement across the Modern Workplace environment.
