The Role The CoE – Robotics & Drones is a global Center-of-Excellence role responsible for defining, standardizing, and governing the use of robotics and unmanned systems within AI-ready and hyperscale data centers. This role serves as the technical authority for robotic inspection, autonomous monitoring, and drone-based assessment capabilities that improve safety, speed, and operational reliability in mission-critical environments. The position establishes global frameworks for deploying ground robotics and aerial drones to support facility inspections, thermal analysis, security patrols, and operational intelligence. The role ensures robotic and drone solutions are safe, compliant, scalable, and fully integrated with data center operational platforms such as CMMS, DCIM, and Digital Twin environments. The role supports smart hands services, remote inspections, and predictive maintenance programs where human access is constrained or risk-prone. Key Responsibilities: Define and govern global robotics and drone adoption strategies for AI and hyperscale data centers Develop use cases for robotic and drone-based inspections, monitoring, and assessments Design autonomous and semi-autonomous inspection workflows for server halls, rooftops, and critical infrastructure Establish standards for robotic navigation, obstacle avoidance, and operational safety Integrate thermal, visual, acoustic, and environmental sensors into inspection workflows Define drone-based inspection models for external infrastructure and hard-to-access areas Develop procedures for hotspot detection, airflow anomalies, water leak identification, an
