EDI Senior Technical Lead - Sterling Integrator

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing and leading the technical aspects of EDI, XML, and Sterling Integrator projects. They will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining integration solutions, ensuring the smooth and efficient exchange of electronic data.

Implement EDI solutions in different areas such as Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing logistics, transportation, Finance across domestic and International.
Act as liaison between Trading Partners, EDI provider, and functional and business teams for any new EDI initiatives and convert them into EDI technical specification.
Developed MRS by analyzing the customer requirements and developed maps for X12, EDIFACT, XML, positional for both inbound and outbound flows in Open Text.
Be able to read and investigate through OpenText the EDI documents being exchanged, XML CSV JSON file that imports or exports to application systems
Knowledge of OpenText. 
Support questions from customer service or Vendor on the data issues
Identify and communicate with Vendor to edit / update / resend specific docs
Require knowledge of various  qualifiers, Ship to cross reference works, trading partners IDs and contacts etc.
Knowledge of Active documents, Trading grid, Community portals for monitoring and creating reports.
Knowledge of shell scripting in Linux and bash shell in windows.

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage edi, xml, and sterling integrator projects from inception to completion.
2. Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to meet business requirements.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to edi, xml, and sterling integrator systems.
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration across systems.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in edi, xml, and sterling integrator technologies.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong proficiency in electronic data interchange (edi) protocols and standards.
2. Expertise in xml data format and related technologies.
3. In-depth knowledge of ibm sterling b2b integrator and other integration tools.
4. Experience in mapping data between different systems and formats.
5. Solid understanding of system architecture and data flow in integration projects.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead technical teams.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in EDI, XML, or Sterling Integrator technologies are a plus.
