EDI Technical Lead - Sterling Integrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IBM IIB/ACE Developer with strong expertise in developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), WebSphere Message Broker (WMB), and IBM MQ. The candidate should have hands-on development experience in message flows, message transformations, ESQL programming, database integration, debugging, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and WebSphere Message Broker (WMB).
develop message flows, sub-flows, message models, message sets, and DFDL schemas.
Develop complex message transformation and routing logic using ESQL.
Implement synchronous and asynchronous integrations using IBM MQ and other enterprise systems.
Work with XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, DFDL, MRM, and BLOB message formats.
Integrate IBM IIB/ACE applications with Oracle and other relational databases.
Develop reusable integration components and frameworks.Perform unit testing, code reviews, and integration testing.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in message flows and production environments.
Implement robust exception handling, logging, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and application teams to deliver integration solutions.
Participate in deployment, release management, and production support activities.

  • Ability to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide resolution independently.
  • Demonstrable experience in troubleshooting and optimizing message flows.
  • Experience supporting production environments and handling critical incidents.

  • Expertise in:
    • Exception Handling Frameworks
    • Error Detection and Recovery
    • Logging and Auditing
    • Message Tracking and Monitoring
    • Performance Tuning

Version Control & DevOps
