ERP Specialist

Job Summary

10 years of experience with data integration and data analytics.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources (SAP ECC, legacy systems, flat files, XML/JSON).
  • Implement data quality checks, reconciliation reports, and error handling mechanisms.
  • Optimize BODS jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and data architects to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all ETL processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BODS jobs and schedules.
  • Support batch and real-time interfaces (IDOC/BAPI) and integration with SAP applications.

Participate in project planning, testing, and deployment phases

Key Responsibilities

1. To administer ERP in production environment
2. To monitor occurrences of new software releases, support packs and kernel upgrades and how these affect the application and users.
3. To manage database optimization, back-up and recovery
4. To perform troubleshooting at the ERP and database level
5. To train and transfer knowledge to the team members

Skill Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data engineering, and data integration lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, or other RDBMS)
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP BODS ETL jobs for data migration and integration projects.
  • Hands on experience in Informatica IDMC data integration
  • Good experience in handling ODP Extractors for delta loads
  • Hands on experience in snowflake connectors.
