ERP Specialist
Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

Job Summary

To be responsible for the installation, technical administration, tuning, and monitoring of the ERP application and supporting the functional teams while meeting consistent quality requirements and timelines.

  • Configure and support SAP APO GATP (Global ATP) functionalities:
    • Product Availability Check (PAC)
    • Rules-Based ATP (RBATP)
    • Capable-to-Match (CTM) (if applicable)
    • Backorder Processing (BOP)
    • Allocation & Product Allocation (PAL)
  • Work closely with business teams to gather order fulfillment and availability requirements
  • Design and implement ATP check instructions, rules, and control parameters
  • Integrate APO GATP with SAP ECC / S/4HANA (SD module)
  • Handle master data setup:
    • Location products
    • Transportation lanes
    • ATP categories
  • Configure and monitor Backorder Processing (BOP) jobs
  • Analyze and resolve ATP check issues and order confirmation problems
  • Support testing (unit, integration, UAT) and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, PP, Supply Chain)

 Required Skills

  • Strong experience in SAP APO GATP configuration and support
  • Good understanding of Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Supply Chain processes
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • ATP Check Methods
    • Check Instructions & Scope of Check
    • Rules-Based ATP
    • Product Allocation
    • Backorder Processing
  • Integration knowledge with SAP SD and APO modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS)
  • Strong debugging and issue resolution skills

 Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA aATP (Advanced ATP)
  • Knowledge of CIF (Core Interface) integration
  • APO to IBP or S/4 migration experience
  • Basic ABAP debugging knowledge
  • Familiarity with enhancements/user exits in ATP

Key Responsibilities

1. To administer ERP in production environment
2. To monitor occurrences of new software releases, support packs and kernel upgrades and how these affect the application and users.
3. To manage database optimization, back-up and recovery
4. To perform troubleshooting at the ERP and database level
5. To train and transfer knowledge to the team members
