Job Summary

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Senior Solution Architect to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent Experience in delivering B2C, B2B, and B2B2C eCommerce solutions in products like Adobe Commerce (Magento), commerce tools, SAP Commerce/Hybris, and headless/composable architectures.
  • Strong solutioning across catalog, pricing/promo, cart/checkout, payments, B2B quoting/approvals, order/inventory, fulfillment, returns and omnichannel workflows.
  • Deep experience integrating CMS, DAM, CDP, Personalization, Marketing Automation, Search, Analytics, and other MarTech platforms.
  • Hands-on experience around implementation, leading discovery, platform assessments, solution blueprinting, architecture roadmaps, and technical due diligence.
  • Strong presales capability—RFP/RFI responses, solution decks, estimates, diagrams, and participation in client orals and demos.
  • Ability to define integration patterns, API contracts, reusable components, accelerators, and engineering best practices.
  • Skilled in designing API-first, microservices, event-driven, and cloud-native (AWS/Azure/GCP) architectures with strong focus on scalability, performance, security, and observability.
  • Proven ability to operate in onsite–offshore delivery models, collaborating seamlessly with distributed engineering teams, client SMEs, and partner vendors.
  • Solid experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, cloud infrastructure, SRE principles, and performance engineering.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling—able to articulate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and TCO to technical and business leaders.
  • Willingness to travel across the USA as required for client workshops, discovery, solution presentations, or RFP orals.
  • Good to have certifications in products like Adobe/Hybris/commerce tools etc., cloud architecture, and SAFe/Agile.

Compensation Data

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $180,000 a year

Pay Range Maximum: $218,000 a year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year
