Job Summary

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in Ansible and PowerShell scripting to design, develop, and implement automation solutions across infrastructure and application environments. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, reducing manual tasks, and ensuring consistency in system management within enterprise IT environments (on-premises and cloud, including Azure). Job Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation playbooks using Ansible for configuration management, provisioning, and deployment. Develop and optimize PowerShell scripts for Windows server administration, automation, and task orchestration. Automate routine operational tasks such as patching, monitoring, reporting, and system provisioning. Manage and maintain Ansible Tower / AWX for centralized automation control and job scheduling. Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow). Perform infrastructure as code (IaC) practices for consistent environment setup and configuration. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation scripts and playbooks. Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to implement automation across hybrid/cloud environments (Azure preferred). Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance policies in all automation solutions. Maintain documentation for automation processes, workflows, and scripts.
