Job Summary

The Autosys Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated job scheduling solutions using Autosys to ensure efficient and reliable data processing operations. This role will involve working closely with various teams within the organization to understand their data processing requirements and translate them into automated workflows. Key Responsibilities: * Job Scheduling: * Design, implement, and maintain automated job scheduling solutions using Autosys to ensure timely and accurate execution of data processing tasks. * Create and manage job definitions, dependencies, and schedules to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime. * Monitor job execution and troubleshoot issues to ensure timely resolution. * Knowledge on FTP process. * Process Automation: * Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. * Develop and implement automated workflows using Autosys to streamline data processing operations. * Documentation: * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Autosys job definitions, schedules, and procedures. * Develop user guides and training materials to support the use of Autosys within the organization. * Problem Solving: * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Autosys job scheduling and execution. * Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement. * Collaboration: * Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and application developers to understand their data processing requirements and translate them into automated workflows. Required Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience in job scheduling and automation using Autosys or similar tools. * Strong understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). * Knowledge of database concepts and SQL. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
