Job Summary

GCP Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Architecture, DevOps & Apigee) Role Overview In this role, the GCP Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for the operational management, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization\'s Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and API management ecosystem. This role ensures the reliability, security, scalability, and availability of enterprise cloud services across Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Networking, Security, and Apigee platforms. The engineers will manage and enhance an established cloud foundation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, support business-driven architectural changes, troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues, and maintain end-to-end connectivity across cloud, hybrid, and API environments. The role serves as a key technical owner for cloud operations, automation, governance, and platform stability. Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture Management ● Manage and support enterprise GCP environments, including networking, compute, storage, security, and platform services. ● Maintain and optimize VPC networks, subnets, routing configurations, Private Service Connect (PSC), VPN connectivity, Cloud Routers, and Interconnect integrations. ● Evaluate and implement infrastructure enhancements to meet evolving business and application requirements. ● Ensure high availability, resiliency, and operational excellence across cloud environments. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) ● Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform following Infrastructure-as-Code best practices. ● Develop, modify, and enhance reusable Terraform modules and deployment frameworks. ● Ensure all infrastructure changes are implemented through version-controlled code and approved deployment processes. ● Support infrastructure standardization, automation, and governance initiatives. DevOps & CI/CD Operations ● Maintain and enhance Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines, and deployment workflows. ● Support automated infrastructure deployment, validation, security, and release management processes. ● Collaborate with development and platform teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency. ● Ensure adherence to CI/CD best practices and change management processes. Apigee Platform Administration ● Manage and support Apigee platform infrastructure, including organizations, environments, environment groups, and runtime configurations. ● Maintain API gateway networking integrations, routing configurations, and private connectivity models. ● Support API platform availability, performance optimization, and infrastructure-related troubleshooting. ● Collaborate with API development teams to ensure secure and scalable API delivery. Networking, Security & Connectivity ● Manage enterprise networking and security configurations across cloud and hybrid environments. ● Support Load Balancers, Cloud Armor, Cloud DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, firewall policies, VPNs, and private connectivity solutions. ● Investigate and resolve complex networking, routing, and connectivity issues affecting applications, APIs, and external consumers. ● Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and governance requirements. Monitoring, Reliability & Incident Management ● Maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions for infrastructure and platform services. ● Support proactive performance monitoring and capacity planning activities. ● Lead troubleshooting efforts during critical incidents and service disruptions related to GCP Infrastructure. ● Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
