Job Summary
1. Job Monitoring & Execution • Monitor Control-M jobs and workflows across all environments. • Ensure successful completion of batch jobs within defined SLAs. • Identify job delays, failures (abends), and take immediate corrective actions. • Manage job dependencies, scheduling conditions, and cyclic jobs. 2. Incident Management • Analyze job failures and perform first-level (L1) troubleshooting. • Restart failed jobs based on SOP/runbook instructions. • Raise and manage tickets in tools like ServiceNow for unresolved issues. • Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors for resolution. 3. Batch Scheduling Support • Execute manual job triggers, reruns, holds, and releases as required. • Validate job schedules, calendars, and conditions. • Implement changes in job workflows as per approved requests. 4. SLA & Critical Job Management • Track and ensure completion of critical and time-sensitive jobs. • Escalate issues proactively in case of SLA breaches. • Provide real-time updates to stakeholders on job status.
