Job Summary

To develop and deliver codes for the work assigned in accordance with time| quality and cost standards.

The Monitoring Engineer is responsible for proactively monitoring IT infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability. The role involves detecting incidents, performing initial triage, escalating issues, and supporting continuous improvement of monitoring processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. To develop the codes for the project as per work assignation.
2. To maintain the existing project and resolving the issues occurring in the existing project.
3. To work upon the new requests raised by the client and develop those features.
4. Documentation work.

Monitor infrastructure components including servers, networks, databases, cloud environments (Azure/AWS), and applications using enterprise monitoring tools. Perform 24/7 monitoring of alerts, events, and system health dashboards. Conduct initial triage, analysis, and troubleshooting of alerts/incidents. Raise, track, and update incidents in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow). Escalate critical issues to appropriate support teams as per defined SLA/OLA. Ensure timely response and resolution to meet SLA commitments. Maintain and follow runbooks, SOPs, and escalation matrices. Perform routine health checks and generate monitoring reports. Identify recurring issues and support problem management initiatives. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, network, and security teams for issue resolution. Support patching, maintenance activities, and change monitoring. Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.

Skill Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring / NOC operations. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as:

Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred). Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL). Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
