Job Summary : Technician\r\n \r\nElectronic or telecommunications technician, with experience in large mining and heavy fleet work, security risk management, structured cabling, splicing and certification of FO, CCTV, telemetry, telecommunications tower work. \r\nDriver\'s license with a minimum of 2 years of issuance. \r\nAvailability for on-site work \r\nImmediately report safety incidents to Supervisor SHE, Immediate Supervisor. \r\nA Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, systems, or infrastructure to ensure smooth and safe operations. Technicians support daily operations by applying technical knowledge, following procedures, and complying with safety and quality standards. \r\n \r\nKey Roles & Responsibilities \r\n \r\n1. Installation & Setup \r\n• Install equipment, machinery, systems, or tools as per technical specifications. \r\n• Configure hardware, instruments, or components for operational readiness. \r\n• Perform initial testing and validation after installation. \r\n \r\n2. Maintenance & Preventive Care \r\n• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities. \r\n• Replace worn-out or faulty components to prevent breakdowns. \r\n• Maintain maintenance logs and service records accurately. \r\n \r\n3. Troubleshooting & Repairs \r\n• Diagnose technical issues using tools, manuals, and schematics. \r\n• Identify root causes of equipment or system failures. \r\n• Perform repairs or coordinate with senior engineers/vendors when required. \r\n• Ensure minimal downtime during corrective actions. \r\n \r\n4. Operational Support \r\n• Provide technical support during daily operations. \r\n• Assist operators and users in resolving equipment-related issues. \r\n• Monitor system performance and report abnormalities. \r\n \r\n5. Quality & Safety Compliance \r\n• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical guidelines. \r\n• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. \r\n• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. \r\n• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses. \r\n \r\n6. Documentation & Reporting \r\n• Maintain records for maintenance, repairs, inspections, and replacements. \r\n• Update checklists, calibration reports, and work orders. \r\n• Prepare basic technical reports for supervisors or engineers. \r\n \r\n7. Inventory & Tool Management \r\n• Manage tools, spare parts, and consumables responsibly. \r\n• Raise requests for replacement parts or materials. \r\n• Ensure tools and equipment are stored and maintained properly. \r\n \r\n8.
