Job Summary
Provide Level 2 technical support for Linux and Unix servers, focusing on diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
Execute essential system administration tasks, including the installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Linux and Unix operating systems.
Monitor system performance, implementing tuning strategies to optimize resource utilization and application efficiency.
Manage operating system vulnerabilities within the compute environment, working in collaboration with incident and threat management teams to mitigate identified risks.
Automate routine processes using scripting and configuration management tools, with a strong emphasis on Ansible, to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to support system integration, deployments, and troubleshooting efforts.
Analyze and resolve server-related incidents, coordinating with external vendors or third-party support when necessary.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Configure and manage the architecture for SMTP and FTP servers.
