Job Summary

The Tools & Automation Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency through the development and maintenance of automation tools. This position focuses on asset management and ITIL processes, ensuring that all solutions align with organizational standards for quality and cost. The engineer will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality code and support existing projects while responding to client requests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop And Implement Automation Scripts Using Itil Best Practices In Release Management To Streamline Deployment Processes And Improve Efficiency.
2. Maintain And Support Existing Automation Tools And Release Workflows In Bmc Remedy And Ca Service Desk, Resolving Issues To Ensure Uninterrupted Service.
3. Collaborate With Clients To Gather And Analyze New Feature Requests, Applying Itil Principles To Design And Develop Enhancements That Meet Business Needs.
4. Create And Maintain Documentation For Release Processes And Automation Workflows To Ensure Clarity And Compliance With Standards.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Release Management Principles And Itil Framework.
2. Familiarity With It Service Management Tools Such As Bmc Remedy, Ca Service Desk, And Servicenow.
3. Fundamental Knowledge Of Scripting Languages For Automation Tasks.

Other Requirements

1. Itil Foundation Certification (Optional But Valuable)
