Job Summary
The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. This role involves managing system configurations, developing and maintaining workflows, providing technical support to end-users, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance ServiceNow capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration & Maintenance
- Manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user administration, access control, and role assignments.
- Perform regular system health checks, upgrades, and patches.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure platform stability and reliability.
- 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, seeking an experienced individual.
- Configuration & Customization
- Configure ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- Create and maintain forms, fields, workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and notifications.
- Develop and manage catalogue items and service request workflows.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using MID Servers, APIs, and Integration Hub.
- Deep knowledge for ServiceNow Upgrades.
Skill Requirements
- Support & User Assistance
- Provide technical support and resolve issues raised by ServiceNow users.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users and internal teams.
- Manage ServiceNow data quality by performing audits and cleanup of CMDB and other modules.
- Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with ITSM process owners and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
- Support ServiceNow best practices and ensure compliance with governance and security policies.
- Participate in release management, testing, and deployment of new features.
