Job Summary

  • Lead the SAP Finance solution direction for Vestas as a trusted advisor to the Product Owner, Finance Core Technology.
  • Provide functional and architectural leadership, and keep finance business needs, SAP capabilities and the technology roadmap aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the trusted SAP FICO advisor to the Product Owner and senior Finance stakeholders.
  • Guide critical solution design and architecture decisions for scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Translate finance business requirements into SAP solution approaches and recommendations.
  • Align SAP Finance solutions with the broader technology and architecture roadmap.
  • Work with business, product, architecture and technical teams to resolve complex topics.
  • Provide thought leadership, challenge solution choices where needed, and recommend best practice.
  • Coordinate with the HCLTech offshore and nearshore finance team, including Manila and India, on design and delivery.

Skill Requirements

  • Extensive SAP FICO experience, preferably with strong S/4HANA Finance exposure.
  • Strong finance process knowledge and its integration with other SAP functional areas.
  • Proven solution architecture, design and advisory experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical and decision-support skills.
  • Able to work onsite in Denmark with Vestas Finance teams, with a valid work authorisation or a Europe-based profile.
  • Fluent business English.

Ideal profile A senior SAP FICO professional who combines deep functional expertise, architecture capability and a trusted-advisor mindset. They should be able to influence solution direction rather than only execute configuration.
