Front End Technical Specialist - Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS

Job Summary

Lead the migration of a large enterprise web application from a legacy technology stack comprising Struts, JSP, Java 1.6, and WebSphere to a modern Angular-based architecture. The role will drive front-end solution design, establish development standards, lead the Angular team, and ensure successful delivery of scalable, responsive, and maintainable web applications while preserving existing business functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of responsive web applications using Angular best practices.
Drive migration of legacy Struts/JSP-based user interfaces to Angular.
Define reusable UI architecture, components, templates, and coding standards.
Collaborate with architects, backend developers, project manager, and QA teams.
Integrate Angular applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Lead implementation of dynamic forms, validations, and business-rule-driven UI functionality.
Mentor developers and perform code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
Optimize application performance through profiling, code reviews, and tuning.
Ensure adherence to UI/UX standards, accessibility requirements, and responsive design principles.
Support testing, deployment, production readiness, and defect resolution activities.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
