Job Summary

Role Purpose

Own the overall cloud migration and modernization solution of existing systems from Data Centre VMs to Azure Government Cloud. Define cloud readiness, target architecture, migration roadmap, and modernization patterns. 

Key Responsibilities

•              Assess current existing applications, infrastructure, dependencies, integrations, and cloud readiness.

•              Define target Azure Gov Cloud architecture and phased migration roadmap.

•              Identify suitable migration patterns: rehost, re-platform, refactor, containerize, or modernize.

•              Support cloud risk assessment, PoC planning, Implementation, security/compliance alignment, and cost-performance optimization.

•              Define application architecture aligned to business goals, security standards, scalability, resilience, and operational needs.

•              Work with product owners, SME's, DevOps, DBA, and application teams.

•              Define CI/CD deployment strategy with Azure DevOps.

•              Define environment model for Dev / Test / SIT / UAT / Prod.

•              Define release and rollback strategy.

•              Define monitoring and observability strategy using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the technical architecture and design of complex projects utilizing spring boot, angular, and java technologies.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
4. Define coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles for spring boot, angular, and java development.
5. Conduct code reviews, perform system performance analysis, and troubleshoot technical issues.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and scalability.

•    Security: IAM, encryption, monitoring, compliance controls

Minimum Salary (US):  144000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
