Full stack Engineer (Python+React+AWS)

 Overview of the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer (Python + React + AWS) within our Life Sciences and Healthcare practice, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications that support critical operations for our pharmaceutical clients. Your expertise will directly contribute to building solutions that accelerate drug discovery, improve patient outcomes, and optimize healthcare processes, aligning with HCLTech’s mission to transform healthcare through technology.
Detailed Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end web applications using Python for backend, React for frontend, and AWS cloud services for infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and QA engineers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement APIs, microservices, and data integration pipelines to support pharmaceutical business processes.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of applications in compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for improved performance and user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and mentor junior developers as needed.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
Skill Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with hands-on expertise in:
    • Backend development using Python (Django, Flask, or similar frameworks)
    • Frontend development using React.js
    • AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of developers to ensure timely and successful project delivery
2. Design, develop, and implement devops solutions, react.js, and full stack java applications
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
4. Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality and functionality
5. Implement best practices in software development and ensure adherence to coding standards
6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth project execution
7. Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in devops, react.js, and full stack development

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in devops solutions and tools such as jenkins, docker, kubernetes
2. Strong experience in react.js framework for frontend development
3. Expertise in full stack development using java technologies
4. In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
6. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively lead a development team

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in DevOps, React.js, or full stack development are a plus
