Job Summary
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent software engineering experience
3+ years of software engineering experience developing web applications
2+ years of hands-on experience developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
2+ years of hands-on experience developing frontend applications using React JS, JavaScript/TypeScript
2+ years of experience working with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design
2+ years of experience designing, consuming, or integrating REST APIs and backend services
2+ years of experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL, including query writing, joins, indexing basics, and performance tuning
2+ years of experience using modern development tools such as npm, Maven/Gradle, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build/deployment tooling
1+ year of experience with React component-based architecture, form handling, state management, client-side performance optimization, or UI validation
1+ year of experience deploying or supporting applications in Azure App Service or similar cloud-hosted application environments
1+ year of experience leveraging AI coding assistants or code-generation tools such as GitHub Copilot or Codex in daily software development tasks
Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, or role-based access control
Experience with JPA/Hibernate
Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks
Experience with secure coding practices, dependency scanning, and vulnerability remediation
Experience integrating Power BI reports or dashboards into React applications using Power BI Embedded, secure authentication, and role-based access controls is a plus
Experience working with embedded analytics, report filters, and user-specific data views in enterprise web applications is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable, secure, and user-friendly web applications using Java, Spring Boot, React JS, and SQL
Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services, REST APIs, and frontend components
Develop clean, well-tested, and efficient Java, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS code following industry best practices
Integrate React applications with Spring Boot APIs and database-backed services to support business workflows
Perform detailed input validation, form validation, data mapping, and error handling to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across applications
Optimize application performance, API response times, SQL queries, and frontend load times to ensure smooth user experiences across browsers and devices
Deploy and support applications in Azure App Service, including environment setup, application settings, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline software development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve productivity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders, to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Evaluate emerging technologies in Java, Spring Boot, React, SQL, Azure, and AI-assisted development tools to improve solution design and engineering practices
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, profiling, and release support to ensure code quality, security, performance, accessibility, and maintainability
