Job Summary

The Senior Technical Specialist in GCP Application Development is responsible for leading the technical aspects of developing Google Cloud Platform applications. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining GCP applications to meet business requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and deploy scalable gcp applications in compliance with coding standards and best practices.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for gcp application development.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gcp applications in a timely manner.
4. Ensure the security and performance of gcp applications through regular monitoring and optimization.
5. Implement automation processes to improve the efficiency of gcp application development and deployment.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in google cloud platform services like gce, gke, cloud functions, bigquery, and cloud storage.
2. Strong experience in programming languages such as python, java, or node.js for gcp application development.
3. Knowledge of containerization technologies like docker and kubernetes for deploying gcp applications.
4. Familiarity with ci/cd pipelines and devops practices for continuous integration and deployment of gcp applications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Other Requirements

We are looking for a Google Kubernetes Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available containerized applications on GCP. The role focuses on Kubernetes platform operations, application deployments, and reliability in enterprise cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on GKE (Standard and/or Autopilot)
Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
Manage Kubernetes resources such as Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Ingress
Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance, availability, and cost
Implement security best practices including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management
Collaborate with application, DevOps, and cloud teams to support cloud‑native workloads
Required Skills
Primary:
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Kubernetes administration and operations
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Secondary:
Docker and containerization
CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Kubernetes monitoring and logging (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, etc.)
Nice to Have
Experience with Helm, Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform)
Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and service mesh concepts
Experience supporting production workloads in enterprise environments
