GCP Data Lead
Bangalore North, Karnataka

Job Summary

The team will:

  • Design and build agentic AI applications supporting workflow orchestration and automation
  • Contribute to architecture, integration patterns, and API-driven solutions
  • Work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams
  • Support end-to-end lifecycle (POC → production → optimisation)
  • Ensure alignment with security, resilience, and Responsible AI principles

Key Skills Required

  • Strong experience in Python (or similar) and modern software delivery lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with AI/agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks, or automation platforms
  • Solid understanding of application architecture and system integration
  • Experience with GCP and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, observability, reliability)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience with LLMs and AI platforms
  • Exposure to responsible AI and governance practices
  • Background in large enterprise / regulated environments
  • Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the technical team in the design and development of data solutions utilizing google bigquery, sql, python, and google dataflow.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Monitor data quality, integrity, and security within the solutions implemented.
4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
5. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in google bigquery for data warehousing and analytics.
2. Strong sql skills for querying and managing large datasets.
3. Advanced knowledge of python programming language for data manipulation and analysis.
4. Experience with google dataflow for real-time data processing and etl pipelines.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team.

Other Requirements

1.Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification is preferred.
